COLUMBUS PUMP HOUSE

Tap into design

Our newest location is a landmark in both design and experience. The Columbus Pump House is a historical building built in 1903 and designed by architect Harrison Albright. After many incarnations, today the Pump House showcases its original architectural grandeur while offering a well-designed, yet laidback, food and craft beer experience.

Come join us for a beer and a bite under the original archways or on the patio with views of the rushing White River and iconic Robert Stewart Bridge. It’s the perfect spot for weekday lunch, after work beers, or weekend relaxing.

  • Growler fills and carryout are available every day but Sundays (Hey, Indiana’s laws, not ours)
  • Cocktail party, business dinner, family celebration or weddings? We’ve got you covered! The Pump House’s banquet hall can accommodate up to 250 guests with a festive offering of menu items, beer, wine and liquor. Contact josie@uplandbeer.com for more details.

THE POUR

You’ll appreciate the thoughtful design of our beers after your architectural tour. The 14 draught lines at the Pump House showcase our year-round beers, our rotating seasonals, and our brewers’ pilot beers, the Side Trail Series. Pints, pitchers and beer samplers are ready for enjoyment every day of the week. Grab a growler or other carryout beer to-go every day except Sunday.

THE FOOD

Whether you’re joining us for lunch, dinner or a late night beer and snacks, you’ll enjoy chef-prepared seasonal menus with that use local ingredients from local farmers when possible. We offer the Upland staples like nachos, tenderloin sandwich, and mac ‘n cheese, plus vegetarian stunners and special dishes designed by our Columbus chef, Chad.
