Onward and Upward

We’ve been brewing for 20 years!

That’s a pretty good reason to get together and celebrate.

Join us for our 20th Anniversary Celebration in Bloomington
Sunday, August 19th from 1 – 6 pm
Outside of the Bloomington Brewpub 350 W 11th St, Bloomington, IN 47404

We invite you to bring your friends & family and join us as we celebrate the good times and connections we’ve made with our hometown fans & partners.

Enjoy live music by the “Upland All-Stars” – a band made up of current employees, with musicians rotating in and out throughout the sets.  We’ve invited partners we’ve grown to know and love over the years to have interactive booths featuring yoga classes, a dunk tank, adoptable dogs from the animal shelter, a photo booth, on-site screen printing and more.

Food will be available for purchase from Wagon Wheel Food Truck and The Chocolate Moose.

We’ll have two beer pouring stations. One will have a variety of Upland favorites including two limited release beers tapped for the first time at this event. The other will feature brews by our friends over at Function Brewing & the recently-opened Switchyard Brewing Company

The return of Preservation Pilsner

In addition to several new releases and parties, we’re bringing back a fan favorite—Preservation Pilsner. Preservation Pilsner was a popular Upland offering until it was temporarily retired at the end of 2012. It’s made a triumphant return, just in time for summer celebrations.

I can’t be more excited to celebrate our 20th anniversary with this beer!  Preservation Pilsner means a lot to me, our staff, and our amazing customers because it really represents who we are as a company; a family that’s dedicated to creating remarkable beer that cares about our environment and preserving spaces in Indiana. We’re thrilled to partner with Indiana Landmarks as they work to revitalize the communities of our loyal Indiana fans. In addition to what the beer stands for, it’s delicious and a great beer to party with! -President and COO Pete Batule.

Beer with a cause

Partnering with Indiana Landmarks to bring awareness to the 10 most endangered Indiana landmarks, we’ll will host a series of pint nights to benefit the organization. Indiana Landmarks works to revitalize historic structures that give communities visible connections to their past and lend irreplaceable visual character to the streetscape.

Wanna help?

Beginning July 1 and running through Labor Day, get to the designated location for a Preservation Pilsner and we’ll donate a $1 of each pint sold to Indiana Landmarks!
