Sours After Hours will feature both VinoSynth brews and wines from Oliver. Our brewery team will take attendees through the wood-aged sour ale process and Oliver will discuss the similarities and differences with winemaking. Guests will sample the tart, tropical flavors of VinoSynth White, the oaky, jammy flavors of VinoSynth Red, and complementary Oliver wines alongside charcuterie and cheese pairings.
Fun fact: Upland began making wood-aged sour ales a little over ten years ago when one of our brewers traded a few cases of beer for wine barrels from Oliver Winery. Over time, a trade between friends and an experiment with a traditional style of brewing have ultimately led to the creation of our dedicated sour ale brewery, the Wood Shop, where brewers craft wood-aged sour brews using unique combinations of fruits and spices.
