Deciding between a bottle of red or white wine is no longer the only choice when it comes to matching drinks with food. Beer, especially sour ales, are becoming more popular as we learn how beer and food pair well together and bring out the best flavors of one another. Savor a delicious meal, crafted by Upland Executive Chef, at the upcoming Sour & Devour: A Sours Pairing Dinner.


This evening is your chance to try the newest beer releases for our third lottery of the year before anyone else. Prior to entering the lottery yourself, sip on Raspberry, Luminary, and Sour Reserve 8, all aged in oak foeders, a month before the public has access.


Attendees will enjoy a five course meal, each course paired with a unique beer to accompany the dish. This is a night of food and beer exploration with savory dishes and hand-picked sour ales complementing the flavors and aromas of the other.


The pairing dinner is Friday, July 14, at 7pm at the Wood Shop Sour Ale Brewery located at 350 W. 11th Street. Tickets are $65 and available on Eventbrite along with the menu. They are limited, so purchase early if you don’t won’t to miss this summer evening of limited release sours.
